Lasagne - being stupid

Making some lasagne to go in the freezer. Meat sauce is readu5, sheets are pre cooked, bechemel sauce almost there.

However I cannot remember if I should freeze once assembled or cook first then freeze.

Which should I do, or if I can do either which is better for taste?

Thanks.

Cook first then freeze. Or at least that’s what I would do, assuming I didn’t scoff it all first!

I think I freeze before cooking. It's already all been cooked once, before assembling? Seems like an unnecessary additional cook.

Cook first, then you just need to microwave it to reheat. Yum.

I freeze once assembled.

Assemble, freeze, defrost, cook.

I do it all the time. Otherwise you'll overcook it and it'll be burnt.

Yes what running said.

I would cook then freeze so I could just microwave a portion. If you're going to reheat the whole thing probably assemble then freeze

Thank you.

I freeze it uncooked, don't pre cook the lasagne sheets either. Cook for about an hour from frozen, it's delicious.

cook and freeze
