Pickling mange tout

I have loads of mange tout at the moment and would like to preserve/pickle some. Does anyone have a recipe or can you advise? The recipes I see online seem to suggest they should be eaten after two weeks. I'd like to keep mine longer if possible.

I would use any recipe for cucumber I think.
