I've got 500g of adzuki beans to use up - anyone got any nice recipes or recommendations for using them up?

Why do you have to use them up?

Are they dried or already cooked?

Have you thought of a chilli?

You could make anko (sweet bean paste) and use it to fill pancakes (the kind with SR flour, not English pancakes).

Red dragon pie from Sarah Brown's veg cookery is lovely. You can find it online.

I always use them in a chilli instead of kidney beans. Far nicer.

Just need the cupboard space really! It's one of a few things I'm trying to use up rather than end up paying someone to move as we're moving house in a few months,

Will look up the red dragon pie recipe now- thanks! Also would never think to include in chili but that sounds good

They work really well in stew too

That sweet bean paste looks interesting! Would never have thought of that - thanks for the tip
