What can I do with too much ground and sliced almonds?

I've got about 350g ground almonds and about 150g sliced almonds. I don't think they're stale, exactly, just don't taste nice. They're well within date.

It totally goes against the grain to throw them away, so how can I use them up? Needs to be something fairly flavoursome, not marzipan.

The only thing I can think of is Bakewell Tart. Any other suggestions? Perhaps something savoury?

I make half pound fruit cake with ground almonds instead of flour.
