I have only ever done pancakes by eye.

do you have something weighing approx. 115g you can balance one end of a spoon to make scales if it must be so precise?

One cup or 4 oz which is 4 heapy tablespoons.

I was going to guesstimate 4fluid ounces, if you have a jug.

It's about 4 heaped tablespoons

(which is about 6 heaped dessertspoons I reckon)

But I'm another one that just starts with a rough amount of flour and then adds the milk and water until it feels right

I always do 4 slightly heaped tablespoons to one egg and then add milk until it's the right consistency.

In similar circumstances, I made a pan balance with a ruler, two bowls and string (and my finger!). 115g is 4 oz, so equivalent to 2 eggs (I assume you have eggs if you're making pancakes)

Thanks! Went with 6 dessert spoons then by eye with 2 eggs - fingers crossed!
