Trying to reduce the amount of meat we eat at the moment. Oddly enough, I was a vegetarian for 5 years but do you think I can remember things I used to make?? Anyway, what vegetarian meals can you recommend for the family? Just me and DP now but we are weaning DS in the next week.

Aubergine stew with cauliflower rice or sweet potato hash topped with a fried egg and home made baked beans are our favourites.

I didn't make it but as a non vegetarian I just had a yummy cauliflower cheese bake, (looks like a burger) probably not that tricky to make actually.

Thank you! Some of these sound awesome and definitely gonna add some to my To-Try list.

Our fave ever vegan meal (we do meat free Monday and Friday!) is cauliflower wind tacos.

You bake some cauliflower until it starts to soften then take out and coat in hummus, milled oats and paprika. Then put back in a hot oven u til crispy. We serve in mini tortillas with sliced red cabbage, butter beans, cooked mushrooms and oatly creme fraiche. SO good!!

Also halloumi coated in panko breadcrumbs and fried served in a Pitts with sliced red cabbage, cucumber and tahini is gorgeous
