My LO starts school in august and I'm looking for healthy ideas for snacks for morning break?

She/he should get free fruit everyday if you are in the U.K.

Are there any restrictions? Around here it's got to be fruit or veg.

There's no restrictions but I do want it to be healthy snacks :) no crisps or chocolate ... Unless of course they are healthy 😃

I've never sent a snack for my reception aged twins - they can eat the free fruit if they're hungry, if not then they'll be more likely to eat their lunch!

If they eat a good breakfast a piece of fruit or some crudités will probably see them through to lunch. Could include humous or cream cheese dip for crudités.
If you are looking for things other than fruit and veg
Cheese and crackers
Rice cakes
Breadsticks
Savoury flapjack
Roasted chickpeas
