I need some ideas of quick and easy meals for my 8.5 month old, finger foods are fine too.

Thanks in advance

Regular favourite in our house is a plate of carrot sticks, cucumber slices, grated cheese or "hummous" (well, a blitz of whatever tinned beans I have in the cupboard) & a handful of "salt n shake" crisps (without the salt of course! I can normally manage at least three "portions" from each small packet). In an attempt at some variation, I like to make pictures from the food...but that's probably more for my sake than hers

Oh and some raw broccoli stem - which we call "broccoli snacks".

Pizza - toast, tomato puree, cheese melted on top. Meatballs cooked in tomato sauce, sometimes with pasta/gnocchi, sometimes on their own. Cucumber sticks, especially when teething. Sweetcorn fritters. Er, homemade fish fingers.

Lots of recipes on AItch's blog .

Banana oat cereal bars, cheese toasties, cheese on toast, beans on toast, sardines and beans (ew!), sandwiches/pita with cheese, sliced meat ,veg, grated carrot etc in.

(Lot of cheese there but I try and give her protein at lunch so she has carbs at tea to help her sleep through!)
