Pickled Onions- Do they count as one of 5 a day?

Silly question really, but do pickled onions count as part of 5 a day? I have googled it and can't find anything about pickled veg anywhere. Is the nutritional value diminished because of the pickling process? I only ask because my dd (22 months) is obsessed with the baby ones and I was wondering if they count towards her 5 a day. Also is the vinegar bad for her? Should I limit how many she eats or just let her get on with it?

don't know if they count as one of the 5 portions but I don't think too much vinegar would be good for little tummies!

personally i would limit them. and i think the 5 a day are supposed to be fresh?...

they can be fresh frozen or even canned but I wouldn't count pickled veg
