Salmon and chorizo fish cakes

If I use the left over mash from Sundays roast, with tinned salmon and some fried chorizo and onion with a bit of mustard stirred in and make fish cakes, will the flavours go well or am I kidding myself?

I'd leave out the mustard, but other than that they sound great.

Salmon and chorizo are brilliant bedfellows...but yes leave out the mustard.
If you ever fancy mustard in fishcakes then smoked haddock with a mustard and cheese sauce is lush...be really brave and put it in the middle of the fishcakes

I had salmon and chorizo in a restaurant a few weeks ago it was a great combination of flavours. I wasn't too sure when I ordered it but I wanted the healthier option
