Chicken not defrosted - help

Had a whole chicken defrosting in the fridge from yesterday afternoon - more than 24 hours. It's still frozen. Can I do anything?

A whole chicken would certainly take a while. Depends when you need it for.

You can put the chicken in water. Such as - in a bowl/sink in water and let it defrost that way.

Agree with defrosting in cold water.

How long will it take?

I'd get something else (takeaway?) and have the chicken tomorrow.

Yeah ... I don't think it'll be ready for a least an hour or so.

If it's a whole chicken, next time I'd leave it out the night before at room temperature.

I've put it in the oven. It felt reasonably normal - wish me luck!
