I'm sure I've read somewhere that you can fry up cooked pasta - a bit like frying up cooked rice. I would maybe try a glug of olive oil, bit of garlic and chilli, sliced red pepper and onion, all sauteed, then throw in the lightly cooked steak. Stir round for a few mins to heat it all through.

Have never done this mind you, so don't blame me if its foul

um, could you maybe fry a bit of onion and garlic, tub of creme fraiche, bit of black pepper, toss steak cut into strips in sauce until heated through, add pasta and heat through...? any good?

prettybird · 15/03/2007 17:30

Cut the griddled steak in to strips. Ditto with some spring onions and any other suitable veg. Then cook as for a stir fry. treat the past as if it were noodles. Depending on homw "thick it was (spaghetti, tagliatelle, penne?) fry it up/warm it up in advance. Use plenty of garlic. maybe even slosh in some soy sauce.
