Cooking bacon in the oven?

I have never cooked bacon before and since I am visually impaired I'm going to go with the easiest and probably safest way and do it in the oven. Is there a way to reduce Ness? I have heard different things about people putting something over the bacon to keep it from splattering . What can I cover it with? I have a convection oven, how long would you cook it for because some meat take longer to cook in a convection oven.

Mess not Loch Ness monster. I certainly don't want Nessie touching my bacon 😂my bacon

I used to do the streaky bacon in the oven, makes it lovely and crisp.
Nothing covering it, or it wouldn't go crispy.

Yes it will be fine.
I used to use a grill pan with tin foil under the grill bit as A LOT of fat will come out of the bacon. Then put the whole thing in the oven.
Not sure about precise timings, my cooking is always a bit more slapdash tbh.

OK thank you I may just have to experiment and pray that the house doesn't burn down! Grin
