Ideas for mince!

Looking for ideas of what to serve with mince which isn't pasta or potatoes. Any thoughts? Thank you

Rice? Couscous? Depends what is flavouring your mince?

Make a lasagne, but use aubergine and courgette as the layers instead of pasta? That's always nice.

Make it spicy and wrap it in lettuce or cabbage leaves.

Tacos.

Moussaka
Enchiladas
Tacos
Homemade meatballs
Lasagne
Korean beef bowls

I make a paprika and garlic type mince taco fillling and serve it on nachos with bean salsa and cheese.

If I had any mince I'd make it tonight!

Spicy minced lamb with couscous
Beef tacos made with mince
Minced beef with gravy and a sweet potato / pastry topping

Thank you. Fussy kids. It's a thankless task cooking for them sometimes

Homemade burgers

Minced lamb / beef can be turned into a keema curry (if your kids will eat curry?), to be served with rice or even flatbreads like naans / chappatis

The above suggestions are great. You could also make kebabs/meatballs and freeze them for later use. You could use the meatballs with spaghetti, to make a homemade meatball sub or make a meatball curry.

I love doing meatballs with tomato sauce, easy and the kids love them, but I do normally serve with pasta............

Usual bolognaise sauce but really reduce it. Get a just roll pastry and spread it all over then roll it up into a fat sausage and bake then cut off swirls to eat. (Hope that makes sense)!

Only decent thing to do with mince is convert it to burgers with chopped onions and spices (assuming it's decent mince!), otherwise just bin it!

I loathe mince in most shapes or forms.

Meatball subs.
Basically just meatballs in marinara sauce in a sub or hotdogs bun.
Kids love them.
