We've had it as a roast, sandwiches, with eggs and salad and I need new ideas for dinner we still have heaps left to use up and I'm sick of salad!?

Chopped up in pasta with onions, courgettes and cheese sauce. Breadcrumb and tomato topping grilled.

I love gammon served with cauliflower cheese. Or maybe soup?

In a frittata.
Carbonara
With chicken in a casserole.
Freeze a hunk for when you're no longer bored with it.

Thanks mumsnetters

Carbonara/pasta bake hybrid is sounding really good for dinner now! I will still have too much so will freeze the rest to chuck in lentil soups.

If I do do that with the soup I can't then chill and re-cook the soup can I?

ALemonyPea I did do that with the original roast and was delicious

Chicken and ham pie or pancakes.
Ham and leek quiche.
Ham and pea risotto.

That chowder looks amazing! Will try that tomorrow then that will be the gammon gone Smile

Made a carbonara tonight then baked covered in cheese and breadcrumbs but was so rich so we couldn't manage much but the kids loved it.

We are going to need a bit of a gammon detox here....

I usually chop and freeze it and then use it to make pies, pasta or frittata. I used the leftover turkey and gammon from Christmas to make pancakes with a white sauc for shrove Tuesday.

Freezing is a great idea so you don't end up eating it days on end but I like to freeze stuff as soon as it's cooled down rather than it sitting in the fridge for a couple days first

Sitting in the fridge before freezing is fine......at least it wouldn't bother anyone in our house.
