I need something that will appeal to the kids so not spicy. Have good store cupboard plus access to Asian supermarket - help me?!!

I'd add in soy sauce, chopped ginger and a squeeze of honey (or marinade the prawns in this beforehand for an hour). Use sesame oil to cook. Serve with noodles.

You can do a really simple sauce with soy sauce and honey. If you have some ginger you can grate in then even better. Other good additions, depending on how adventurous your kids are, would be a squeeze of garlic paste, a glug of sweet chilli sauce, and some lime juice.

Or you can do peanut butter, soy and water for more of a satay-type thing.

See, I'm never confident enough to believe that so few ingredients will be tasty Blush.

I like the satay idea - would that be better with chicken maybe??

Either would be lovely! Or Quorn chunks, or strips of pork or beef.

never overload the ingredients in Asian food! it just mixes all the flavours up and makes it sickly. Stay simple - ginger, garlic, soy sauce and honey - if you want add fish sauce or oyster sauce.
or just buy a pre-packet stir fry sauce from blue dragon.
