I'm doing quite well cutting out milk, cheese etc but struggling with nice butter alternative. I don't really like sunflower spread. Any suggestions?

I guess it depends on what you want to use it for...do you mean for cooking/baking or for spreading on toast/in sandwiches?

I like violife but I assume you have tried that? Koko margarine is also nice (coconut based) I'm not a big fan of Pure but some people are, they do a soya based one. Asda do their own avocado based marg.

I always think these alternatives seem like a mixture of chemicals

bettah than buttah

Absolutely no preservatives or artificial ingredients.

I like pure, but I don't like a buttery taste (things like shortbread etc which are supposed to taste buttery) so if you are looking for a proper butter replacement then I wouldn't bother with pure, there are 3 versions of pure and all taste pretty much the same (soya, olive oil and sunflower oil)
