I love a bit of nigella! I love how she writes, her enthusiasm about food and lovely ingredients, and how easy, quick and yummy most of her recipes are! I was reading Kitchen this morning and made Korean Keema for lunch, bloody delicious, perfect for fighting off this horrid cold! What's everyone's favourite nigella recipes, I need suggestions of more fab things to cook!

Love all her recipes, never made a bad one, but family favourite is the mac and cheese from Express where you use evaporated milk. Sounded grim but we have it nearly every week with different bits thrown in for variety (ham, tomatoes, bacon, chives …) and put different cheeses/breadcrumbs/etc on the top before baking.

I also love her Mexican Chicken Salad from Express, and Eggs in Purgatory from Nigelissima.

The whole roasted chicken with tagliatelle is our favourite - DH would have it as his 'condemned mans last dinner!'

Also love the chicken and chorizo tray bake and spatchcocked chicken with lemon and rosemary.

Oh and the party poussins for Christmas Eve dinner is becoming a bit of a tradition.

BlushI do cook more than just chicken though! Grin

Chocolate malteser cake
Carbonnade a la flamande (in Kitchen -basically the nicest beef in ale stew ever)
Sweet and salty peanut crunchy bars (again from Kitchen can't remember the proper name but they're dangerously more-ish)
Slow cooked lemon chicken
Mixed meat pilaf ( my go to for leftover roast meats)
Flourless chocolate cake
Peaches poached in cheap dessert wine Sauternes with Sauternes custard.

Lemon linguine.
Molten chocolate baby cakes.
Marmite spaghetti. Although I believe this was originally an Anna del Conte recipe.

I love her Slut's Spaghetti recipe. It's quick, easy and really tasty!

shaggedthruahedgebackwards · 20/04/2017 15:37

It did the Simnel Cake from Feast for Easter and it was lush

I love the peanut butter squares in Domestic Goddess too

PoleStarOnce · 26/04/2017 21:19

The lemon polenta cake (in Kitchen, I think) is absolutely gorgeous. Feast is my favourite book but I cook more from Kitchen.
