Ideas for left over roast lamb

Other than curry or shepherds pie....?

Eat in in pitta with harissa, yogurt and mint plus pomegranate seeds.

Cold meat with chips and pickle and tomatoes.

My grandma always used to serve this.

Cold with bubble & squeak and baked beans

Use it to make burritos

Moussaka

Stew make with red wine, carrots, onions, tinned tomatoes garlic and rosemary, it's delicious

Get a fork and eat it! I love lamb but never get any!

On a flatbread pizza with red onion and harissa.

Monday Pie- childhood comfort food of leftover roast meat mixed with baked beans and topped with sliced potatoes.

Moroccan Shepherds Pie- as per regular shepherds pie but with lots of spices, butter beans and topped with sweet potato.

Stuffed aubergine. Or stuffed courgettes with egg and lemon sauce. I use a Vefa Alexandrou recipe for the courgettes. It's bloody lovely.

I don't like it cold (too fatty), like the idea of Moroccan shepherds pie.... Mmmmmm.....

Lovely in a ragu with plenty of garlic and rosemary.

I sometimes do something similar to this with it - cooking the onions in the stock and adding the cooked lamb to heat through once the onions are tender, before finishing with the egg yolk and lemon. It's quite delicious.

Shepherds pie, short crust pastry pie, curry, Ragu. Bill out with veggies/lentil if you want to stretch it further. Yum. X
