Leftover chicken

I have a full roast chicken left over from Monday so am needing to use it up today. It was fresh before cooking, and refrigerated since cooking. If I cook half on a soup and half in a traybake mozzarella, can I then freeze the soup to be reheated later? I seem to recall that chicken shouldn't be frozen, reheated then frozen again, but I'm not exactly sure of the rule.

I would do it, but then again I'm not picky with things like that and never been ill from doing it, I did the same thing but made a curry and froze it, it was fine Grin
