Feeling bloated - what to eat...?

I had sausages in the fridge for toad in the hole but I definitely don't fancy that! It's that time of the month and I feel very bloated and icky. What should I make for dinner? Have pretty well-stocked pantry and veg drawer but no meat defrosted other than sausages and bacon (both not things I fancy tonight).

What do you cook when you need comfort food but feel too uncomfortable to eat it??

Start with a mug of hot water. You might feel a bit better after that.

Easily digested foods - like white fish, mashed potatoes and green veg or scrambled eggs on toast.
Risotto could be another good one - and keep drinking plenty

Omlette or fritata

Something light like chicken salad? Maybe with some new potatoes?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll do baked potatoes - then dp and kids can have beans/cheese/tuna whatever and I can just have butter and green veg.

I'm swigging back the peppermint tea which usually sorts me out, but not today.
