What are your experiences of recipes from the Guardian?
Over all this ancho-chicken s tasty and I will cook it again but what a faff!!!
This is the recipe I am talking about:
www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2017/mar/17/ancho-chicken-thighs-tray-bake-recipe-lemon-drizzle-cake-candied-citrus-thomasina-miers

I should have known better, no way it would take 20-25 min in the oven to cook raw potatoes (even roughly chopped into bite-size pieces!)

I cooked it twice as long and then fished them out and cooked for 3 more in in the microwave!
I will cook it for an hour in the oven in the future, or even longer!

I read comments underneath and the last of over 80 of them mentioned this issue and then comments have been closed.

p.s: I replaced fancy chill from the ingredients list with a tsp of cayenne pepper
also there's no mention of rapeseed oil in the list of ingredients and then you need it to fry chicken on it
and I used skinless tighs

Usually fine, particularly if it's a Felicity Cloake or Rachel Roddy recipe.

I've found Nigel's recipes a bit unreliable in the past, though.

thanks for your comment awkward I'll try those chef's recipes
nothing wrong with the flavour, in fact very interesting, but the timing was :(
