Eating cooked rice cold - ok??

Cooked rice for dinner last night. Kept some aside and let it cool while we ate dinner (c. 20 mins) then put straight in fridge. My hope is to have it in a salad ie cold..

But I know rice can be super dodgy mishandled. Is what I'm planning okay?!

Yes, fine. It is the cooling after it has been cooked that is the most important bit. If the bacillus cereus toxins had started developing no amount of heating it would kill them off anyway, but you cooled the rice quickly and refrigerated it so it will be fine.
