Dp is away for Mother's Day and I'm cooking cooking for a house full of adults and kids. Need something I can just "leave" as I'll be rushing around.
Has anyone made this?
Is it nice?
Any tips?
What do I serve it with?

Not done Nigella's but I've done the Ruver Cottage/HFW one lots of times. I'd guess they're basically the same - a whole shoulder cooked for 24 hours? I usually don't bother with the rub he suggests as I'm not convinced that after 24 hours it's really noticeable. I usually do as part of a straight roast but have done with dauphinoise which you could do ahead? And I always like red cabbage with it, again works beautifully done ahead.
