Lower fat / sugar flapjacks.

My DS adores the flapjacks I make but they are so sweet and I'd like to know how much I can reduce the ingredient by and still get them to set.

I've looked at 'healthy' flapjack recipes but it's not so much that I want them to be 'healthy' as he chooses them as a treat but simply lower in fat and sugar.

At the moment i do:

  • 200g porridge oats.
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup.
  • 125g butter.
  • 125g brown sugar.
  • 75g dried fruit.

Does anyone know how little butter, sugar and syrup I could 'get away with' please?
