Quick brownie question

Can I make brownies now, but not bake them until tonight? I want to have them warm for dessert.

They take far longer to bake than prepare, surely!

Can you not just warm them quickly at tea time?

I don't think so as the raising agent starts to react when you add the liquids, and they would just be very flat.
