If it were me I'd sod preparing a meal and sharing it. I'd eat the lot on a sandwich with mustard and gherkins Smile

I would have it cold with bubble and squeak and baked beans or in a Thai style salad - stroganoff could also work

Ooh! They all sound delicious! (I may have a sneaky sandwich for lunch! Wink) but there is more than enough for two suppers after that!

cold rare beef should have as little done to it as possible.
slap on bread, add horseradish and pickles, hide the rest from everyone else and do the same tomorrow.

Or cut into strips and stir fried with chilli garlic and noodles.

I had this last week from a joint of sirloin I'd cooked - made a Beef Rendang curry from ' Save with Jamie' it was amazing!

Swifey · 20/02/2017 17:28

I've done that curry before, it is delicious!! I think I did it with brisket!

'Crying tiger'. Strips of beef marinated in fish sauce, soy, ginger, chilli, garlic, sesame oil, lime juice then flash fried briefly on griddle. Serve with rice or in a baguette. We did this with leftover rare beef on Boxing Day - it was lovely.
