So I took the gammon (at least 2.5kg) out of the freezer on Saturday at around 2pm and left it on the side, dh put it back in the fridge at 6pm last night - I only realised today that perhaps I shouldn't have tried to defrost it out of the fridge, and that maybe I'd left it out too long.
Is it safe to eat? Will I give the children food poisoning?
