Chilli-make in advance or not?

I've got to make a chilli for a party tomorrow lunchtime. The recipe I use takes between 2.5-3 hours in the oven. I can't decide whether to make it in advance tonight then heat it up at the venue or get up early in the morning and make it then (but have the added difficulty of transporting it hot on a forty minute car ride)

I always think chilli tastes better then next day. Or even the day after that!! Nice and 'mature' - yum!

Definitely make in advance, I agree it taste better the day after it's made.

Make in advance, let cool, take and reheat at venue tomorrow. Take microwave if necessary.

That's unanimous then, I'll get cracking! SmileI'm making an industrial quantity but luckily as it is so cold I'll be able to store it overnight in the unheated conservatory!
