Best desert to serve for a diabetic?

Any ideas? i know the answer is probably no desert but wondered what would be the lesser of all evils?

I usually do fruit salad but would like to offer something different if possible.

Diabetic is type 2 if that makes a difference.

What about just a really nice cheese selection and grapes, and drop the dessert?
