DD has asked for a rainbow piñata cake for her birthday party. I'm fine with the concept, but have been warned that often the sweets absorb the moisture from the cake and stick together rather than pour out. I was thinking Smarties or M&Ms as their shells are harder than skittles. Does anyone have any tried and tested suggestions?
