Turkey legs in a slow cooker??

Has anyone cooked turkey legs in a slow cooker?
Ive got 2 of them & I'm not sure how to cook them. Will they be ok in foil in the SC with no liquid or has anyone got any nice casserole type recipes please?
Thanks!

I have. Write off the skin as waste and you're good to go. I rub mine in chilli, lime and coriander for fajitas. I've also done lemon and thyme for a pie. It's a great economical meal imo.
If you can be arsed getting the meat off the bone a chopping it then you have all the options that chopped chicken thighs offer- curries, stews, pies etc but I'll be honest and say I usually make this stuff with the already cooked turkey rather than battling with the leg.
