Listen up MNers. This Friday is "Kbear Lemon Drizzle Mars Day"

It's KBear's birthday on Friday (don't ask her age, she gets very upset bless her) and in her honour, as many MNers as possible are to make the wonderful Marslady's lemon drizzle cake.

Why?

Cos we can. And we get to eat it.

chocolate version: add 3-4 tbs COCOA powder. You can melt a large bar of chocolate and pour that into the mix. Add an extra spoon or two of milk and cook it for slightly less time.

Topping: Melt a large bar of chocolate add a dollop of oil and pour over the top. Allow to set. Alternatively, melt the chocolate and mix in icing sugar and a little hot water.

sorry, too busy making a horse cake for money on Friday, so can't join in the lemon drizzle fun BUT I feel I will be in a position to drink large amounts of cab sav if you are interested.

I'm going to make a lemona nd a chocolate onee. One in honour of littlelapin and one for Kbear - just gonna check I've got enough candles (and fire extinguisher)
