frozen salmon - can I eat this question?

I'm second guessing myself.... I think I know the answer but as it's for the toddler I want to ask one of 'can I eat this' questions?

I have frozen salmon. If I make fishcakes with them, can I then refreeze the fishcakes?

If it was meat I'd do it without question but fish makes me nervous for some reason

TIA

Is it cooked or uncooked?

Uncooked you can refeeeze once cooked.

uncooked I think

Says it contains raw fish so I assume this will be ok!

Assuming good kitchen hygiene, and I'm sure that's the case, defrost in the fridge, make fish cakes, then freeze - you'll be fine.
