Quinoa - rinsing it

Hi,

I'd been using those pouches of cooked quinoa occasionally, and recently bought some dried. it says on the pack to rinse it before cooking. I might be being really thick, but how? It'll fall through the sieve.

Am I missing something obvious or do I need to buy a new, extra fine sieve? Do they exist?

Thanks!

If you use a fine mesh sieve - the sort you use for flour - then it won't go through the gaps
