Does anyone have any tried and tested recipes? Preferably something that doesn't cost the earth with ingredients

Mmmm...paella...I've tried it with DS, but I don't think he liked the saffron. He is more receptive to Jambalaya which is not dissimilar. I like the Hairy Biker's Recipe, which I make with basmati rice and added peas!

I make this "fake" paella all the time because it's really simple and cheap. It's more of a baked Spanish risotto, as the title suggests.

Snap Stanley38 I was just about to post the same link!

It's delicious and so easy to make. We've made it on numerous occasions when we've had friends over and they're always so impressed, it's one of those dishes that seems as though you must have slaved over it, when nothing could be further from the truth!
