Best iron rich foods

Looking for some recommendations for iron rich foods for a 14 month old. He prefers to feed himself now. He had broccoli frequently and some times a curry that includes lentils - any other good and easy things?

It's generally DH feeding him after nursery on week nights so needs to be "can't cook/ won't cook" compatible- he'll do the minimum but generally has very little time anyway

Dried apricots - maybe chopped up in porridge?

Make a kale or other green pesto? Literally: handful of raw kale or sprinach, rocket etc; handful of Parmesan; 50-100g toasted pine nuts, walnuts, almonds, seeds or whatever (can leave this out if needed); blend with a bit of garlic, lots of olive oil, lemon juice and season to taste. Keeps in a jar in the fridge for a month or longer and it's easy to chuck on pasta - add a dollop of cream cheese, cream fraiche or whatever if you want a creamier sauce.
