I cannot find a spag Bol I like!

I've tried various recipes and also jars but nothing has wowed me!
Do any of you have a tasty but easy recipe for me to try? I don't want carrots or celery or other types of veg (obv onion garlic and pepper is ok) I don't like it to end up watery either, am I asking too much??

lasagne is my thing so i have had to learn to make a good bolognaise to use in my amazing lasagne (several friends who seem to sniff it out every time i make it)

fry finely diced onion, minced garlic and mushrooms in some butter then put to one side. in the same pan fry the mince until browned.
add 2-3 oxo cubes (i use 3 for 2250g mince since i feed 8 on a regular basis and want leftover for lasagne)
add back in the mushrooms and onion, add a tin of chopped tomatoes, squirt of tomato puree, jar of dolmio.
2 finely diced courgettes go in, then a good glug of rioja, mixed herbs, sprinkle each of paprika, mild chilli powder and cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. simmer for about an hour with the lid off to let it thicken a bit. yummy
