Butchering a turkey

Any tips on how to turn my whole turkey into a crown?

I get given a turkey each year by work, this year there are only 3 of us so I'm thinking remove and freeze the legs for meals in Jan.

Sounds simple, but is it? Anyone done this and have any tips on how to do so easily?

It's easy, do a YouTube search.

It's easy with a chicken... Kitchen scissors, cut along/in the groove where the legs are attached.

For a minute there with butchering in the thread title I thought you meant that you have a live turkey you need to slaughter and pluck. That would be quite an undertaking for Christmas morning!
