Do you think you can make fudge in a slow cooker?

The recipe book says you can make jam

It's nonstick & the temperature is contrilled

I think I am going to gve it a go!!

There are a few groups on Facebook (slow cooker wonders is one) and they are always posting recipes for fudge on there

Oh God the slow cooked wonders group on fb is full of the bloody stuff. But it's made with chocolate. I'm sure it's fine but fudge it ain't.

I do.
2 sheets of choc, 1 tin condensed milk ans 1 tbsp butter. Stick on high with out lid till melted. Stir well cook on low for 2 hrs stir every 20 min or so. Do all above without a lid

I normally make almots tablet fudge - it's lush

Not a massive success - I finished it off in a pan

I think I should probably make some more - just to check, I wonder if I started it off too high in the slow cooker Wink
