What vegan sweets are available in the supermarket?

We are doing Secret Santa at work, £5 budget.
My recipient is a sweetie fiend, so I wanted to put together a box of sweets for them. My stumbling block is that they need to be suitable for vegans.
There are loads of website that sell great sweets, but the delivery charge blows the £5 budget.

I found this page on the PETA website:
www.peta.org.uk/blog/44-accidentally-vegan-snack-foods/
But when looking at the packaging inside, some of them only said suitable for vegetarians.

Can any vegans point me in the right direction?

Oreos are vegan themselves but they are made in the same factory as non-vegan products so could come into contact with things like milk chocolate.

I second the veggie percy pigs and colin caterpillar - check label carefully.

Fruit jelly sweets, the soft variety are, but do check. Biona brand sweets are readily available and they are lush, and Tesco do one brand called katjes which are in the confectionary aisle rather than the free from. I second veggie Percy pigs. Most dark choc is vegan but again have a quick read.

My partner is vegan. He loves skittles, starburst, proper dark chocolate, Oreos (normal and mint), some strawberry lace type sweets... you don't have to get super expensive specialist sweets, it's just a case of reading the ingredients! Much to my surprise, Co-Op puff pastry mince pies from the bakery are vegan, as are their donuts!
