oh heck!! can i make lentil dahl with just puy lentils and curry powder?

i have to make lentil dahl for this evening but the car is broken and i can't get out to the shops. i've got dried puy lentils, tinned toms, curry powder and lemons in my cupboard. can i make it with them?!!

Yes, I would think it will be ok as long as you reduce the sauce until it is quite thick

yes, i've got onions. good idea. god knows what it will taste like but i will give it a go.
