6inch Christmas cake

I am making a small cake as there will only be dh, ds and myself eating it. However I can't find a nice recipe in the correct size. I know I can recalculate the quantity but am too lazy worried about getting it wrong. The simmer and stir recipe from good food sounds good but Is 8 inch.

I don't know how small your DS is, but I would have thought you would certainly need an 8" one. They do keep well.

Delia Smith's complete cookery course has quantities for a rich fruit cake for a 6" tin.

Mary Berry has a 6inch recipe. I made it last year but have done 8inch this year as it all got eaten so quickly!
