Chicken pie / please recommend me a pie dish

I'm after a round pie dish for chicken pie; I live in a country where pie is not a thing, so need to buy it online. I've looked on Amazon but am confused - is deep or shallow better? What size for a pie for a family of four? Ceramic or metal?

TIA!

I would go for a deep metal loose bottomed one with a clip release on the side. In terms of size I would go for 20cm

Blondie, I have one of those already.... that would do? Don't I need sloping sides? And a rim?! Is steel better than ceramic?

I prefer glass and a lid for leftovers. I know you said round but have these

in 3 sizes and use them for everything

They're my favourite for Jamie Oliver's 30 min meals chicken pie.
