Today I had guacamole with crackers but the only other things I can think of are

soup
poached or scrambled egg
sardines on toast

and that's it!

DS and I had 'finger food patties' for lunch - well actually he (10 months) had loads of them and I had his left overs - they're a big hit here.

I know the name sounds weird (got the recipe from Aitch's BLW blog) but they really are great, kind of like a mini fritatta aithout the potato - though really you can put anything in.

1 egg - whisked
add 3 tablespoons plain flour
then 3 tablespoons milk

Once this is mixed you add 'filling' - our fave is pepper, basil, grated courgette, sweetcorn, tiny pieces of roasted red pepper and grated cheese.

Mix again then fry in a wee bit of butter, like you would a thik pancake.

When I get to eat them myself I have them with salad - really quick and tasty.
