Make your ragù however you like it

When it is ready, make a basic white sauce

Layer ragù - white sauce- grated cheese (Parmesan or pecorino)-noodle in a casserole dish then repeat til the dish is full, with the top being ragù - White sauce- cheese

Bake til bubbly and golden on top

I always use fresh noodles, you can use dried but you'd need to parboil them first til they are not quite cooked

I make bolognese sauce - which means I simmer it on hob for about 30 mins. Make cheese sauce. Use dried lasagne sheets - I never soak or pre-cook. Layer cheese sauce, bolognese, lasagne sheets, finishing obviously with a final layer of cheese sauce making sure everything's well covered. Sprinkle with grated parmesan. Bake in oven for about 45 mins at 190. My family tell me it's good!

Made lasagne a few weeks ago.

I de-frosted some mince I already cooked, made a cheese sauce (needed a lot more than initially thought), then layererred the mince, cheese sauce and lasagne pasta in a dish. Hey presto - lasagne! Not sure how authentic it was, but it tasted just fine.

mince, onion, garlic (plenty), brown and cook as usual then add passata, tomato purée and red wine. Add fresh herbs and reduce to flavour. I also add some jam or red currant jelly to take the acidity out the tomato plus sweeten it a bit as I like mine very meaty and a bit sweet.
Layer this with white sauce (butter or virgin olive oil with flower, and make into paste, slowly add milk, strong cheese and pepper. I also add cheese between layers and final layer of cheese sauce plus grated cheese and paprika or pepper

Posted too soon - layers of pasta of course then bake in the oven for around 45 minutes

The best ever lasagne recipe I've found in in Simon Hopkins Prawn Cocktail Years.
If it doesn't come up on a google let me know and I'll write it out here.
