DD had a tub of mixed dried fruit she munched on

She has stopped so I have a large tub of mixed fruit including mango, cranberry, apple slices, pineapple & worryingly hard Banana chips

Any ideas for a fruit cake recipe I can use please?

I'd separate out the banana chips and use the rest. The only way I've ever seen banana chips used is pressed on to the top of muffins or loaf cakes but even then I think those were banana slices, not the chips.

Blush not very helpful, me. Perhaps someone else will be more helpful.

I was wondering about a barabrith or a tea bread but I am too scared just to give it a go!

OMG I've never heard of barabrith but that sounds divine and soaking the banana chips would probably be perfect.

This recipe doesn't sound too difficult at all

And you could even use some yummy liqueur.

That's what I was thinking - soak it!!
