Things to do with kidney beans besides chili

I've just done a batch of chili and have half a tin of kidney beans left over. They always end up going off in the fridge. Can't do big batch cooking as we don't have a freezer. Anyone have a recipe that would use up the extra kidney beans? Veggie burgers maybe?

Jack Monroe Carrot, cumin and kidney bean burgers
Or add to sausage casserole.

I just add them into things like a tuna salad, vegetable pasta, sauce, soup, whatever really!

Rice and peas, Caribbean style (the peas are actually kidney beans).

Fry them up with some onions and spices and have in a wrap with grated cheese, avocado, whatever else you fancy. Kind of like a fajita or a burrito. You can warm up the wrap in the frying pan too. Yum!

Kind of like this recipe but a bit simpler, I don't bother adding tinned tomatoes as I prefer it less sloppy.

I was just about to post the link to the Monroe recipe but see someone else has beaten me to it. They are very tasty and a good idea if you want a meat free meal.

Blitz with garlic, lemon juice, cumin and salt. They make a yummy dip.

my mum makes a lovely salad with kidney beans.

it has kidney beans, tuna, chopped apple, chopped celery and a small amount of finely chopped onion. She then puts a balsamic dressing on it.
