There is going to be approx 8 adults and 6 children. I am not great at catering for big numbers (am so jealous of those who just take it in their stride!)

Any suggestions? Am thinking of a big pot of bolognase and maybe a stew with jacket potatos for the adults and pizza/sandwiches/crisps for the kids.

Erm. I'm crap at describing but basically peel a carrot as normal and then cut a sideways vee shape (small) at approx 11'o clock and 1'o clock if looking straight down the carrot. Cut the vee out the whole way down and then chop carrot as normal. Looks like mini pumpkins with a stalk remaining. Halloween Blush

It's only our family this year, but I'm planning on making this if I get chance eyeball shaped panna cotta. Panna cotta is generally quite easy to make so most of the faff will come when decorating it.

The mumsnet apple teeth that popped up in the side bar earlier, they look great and so simple. On my phone now so can't see them but I guess if you go on the mumsnet YouTube channel you'll find them.
