Least exciting thread ever but here goes:
DD Y7, stressed, controlling with food.
Likes some things some days and won't touch them the next (and vice versa). Not so much fussy in that there is anything she really hates, just that if she doesn't fancy something she won't eat at all.
I need a list of sandwiches please. If I tell you brown bread of any kind and butter/marg are forbidden, otherwise any kind of sandwich/wrap. Just brainstorm me please. I'm hoping for as long a list as possible.
So far this term:
on white sliced bread:
Ham on white
Ham and tomato on white
Ham and cucumber on white
Salami and cucumber on white
cheese and cucumber on white
cheese and tomato on white
cheese and salad cream
Tomato and mozzarella with pesto
chicken salad (iceberg, tom and cucumber with mayo)
ham salad
salami salad
roast chicken, bacon and salad
crusty baguette
salami and cheese
ham salad
chicken salad
prawn salad
wraps: all contain salad plus
roast chicken
ham
pulled pork and potato salad

Please just add to the list. Thanks in advance

ps she doesn't always have a sandwich but I'm just collecting those today, thanks

She won't eat the same thing twice in a week and if she perceives she's had it 'recently' it will put her off for ages. Recently is not defined.

Frankly, unless she has SN, I'd stop pandering to the controlling. At the weekend she gets to choose 2 fillings and 2 bready things, then gets to make her lunch in the morning (I saw a good pintrest thing of putting other lunch components in the fridge in boxes with a label of 'choose 2 from here' etc) with what is available

Thanks. Currently under ed psych for possible ASD which would very much fit with the random anxieties while coping day to day.
Thus I'm trying to help her manage the anxieties if they are a release.
Any sandwich ideas?
